Fingers gently laced together behind her back as she had stood waiting for the door to be opened, standing upright with a bright smile on her first, pretending to not have noticed that he was there at first; her bright blues instead looking up at the waning light through the intertwining branches overhead. At hearing that single sort word though, her eyes slowly drifted from the sky overhead to rest upon Adratha; a smile lighting to her lips softly followed by a giggle.
A nod was given to his invitation, stepping towards his home and slipping in through the front door, eyes taking in how he lived and what things seemed important for him. Hearing his steps, though, her gaze fell back to him as she watched him go to retrieve the corsage, a happy grin on her face as she held out a soft hand for him to slide it onto her wrist. Once it was, she leaned forward and gave him a gentle kiss on the cheek as a hand slide down his forearm to grasp his, leading back to the door and out.
Rodriguez was waiting once more for her, extending a hand to aid her into the carriage and then holding the door open for Adra to enter before closing them in and hopping up into the driver’s bench. A quick flip of the reigns and soon the carriage was bumping on down through the forest once more at a good pace towards the larger city. Brianne peered out the window for a moment as a hand pushed the curtain aside, finally leaning back against the seat and smiling over at Adratha once more.
“So are you ready for this night?” was all she asked with that smile of hers, a twinkle in her blue eyes as she was happy to be going back into the city once again.
